Alan Visser
alanAlan started his career as a technical illustrator, production artist, and graphic artist working in California. From there, his talents led him to founding Visser Design Associates in LA where he specialized in Motion Picture and Production Company promotions. After settling at Grandville Printing in 2000, as Prepress Manager, Alan took over managing a three-shift CTP (Computer-to-Plate) operation for both our sheetfed and web press rooms. In addition, Alan has also been instrumental in pioneering our digital workflow, quality control and color management processes from design to press.

aI have been a part of GPC's growth for 31 years.  It has been exciting to watch the technology changes that have occurred through the years.  Our commitment to the industry has shown itself with its continued investment in the newest technology available.  Our reputation of producing the highest quality product at the lowest cost is the foundation of our web press room.  We excel at handling difficult runs with high versioning.  Our training program has produced staff that takes great pride in covering every detail in the production process.

Fred Barr
aFred brings nearly 30 years of printing experience to our sheetfed, digital and bindery departments. He has worked in many areas of the printing trade including commercial, packaging, pressman, Quality Assurance Manager and Supervisor. Fred now oversees all press room and bindery operations, including digital press production. Working his entire career in the West Michigan area, Fred has worked with countless local and hundreds of national accounts which demand printing excellence, including Daimler Chrysler, Amway and Herman-Miller to name a few.

Amy has been with the company for 7 years in such roles as Production Manager and Accounting. aChris has over 20 years of experience developing new technology products and companies. His diverse background includes a patent in database software, and in-depth experience in sales, marketing, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

Ken Boer
aKen has been developing software and intranet applications for GPC for many years. His expertise in network administration is compounded by his team of programmers and IT professionals who are knowledgeable in many common languages including HTML, PHP, CGI, ASP and C#. Ken is also involved in the variable data processes working with many customer databases and how the information gets translated to our digital press room.
